OWLS AND OWLS

Hello everyone,

I have had my catalogue launch, and would like to thank all my customers who came along and had a visit, chat and cuppa. I had a lovely day visiting with you all.

I made this card for my nieces birthday using the NEW Owl together now stamp set. It looks like a masculine card in this photo, but was actually quite pretty and feminine. I don't think the colours photographed very well. I used pink pirouette, chocolate chip, sahara sand and whisper white card stock. I used chocolate chip ink and my markers to colour the owls hats.

I finished with pink pirouette ribbon and stamped an envelope to send it in, using the organic grace hostess set(which I love!!!) and wonderful favourites set for the greeting.

I hope you like it.

GARDEN WHIMSY

Hello again,
Two cards on one day. I must be getting my mojo back. I have used the lovely Garden Whimsy set and Say it with Scallops again.
Cardstock used is Bashful blue, blush blossum ,elegant eggplant and whisper white.
I finished with taffeta bashful blue ribbon (Ilove the taffeta ribbon), glitter and scallop edge punch and square scallop punch.
I coloured in the large butterfly, using my coloured markers before stamping. I love this technique. It really makes the butterfly stand out. A bit of masking and sponging and the card was finished. I hope you like it.

SAY IT WITH SCALLOPS

Hello everyone,
I have not been here for awhile, and I do apologise for it. I have been doing a bathroom renovation and it took much longer than I thought and I haven't been able to concentrate on anything else much.
I thought I would use some colours today I don't use much. I have used Ruby red, cameo coral, chocolate chip and creamy caramel.
The stamps are from One of our newer sets, Say it With Scallops, and one of our retiring sets, Bud basics. I have also used chocolate chip ribbon, dimensionals and glitter.
There is only 5 days left to purchase anything on the retiring list. You will find this list if you click on Stampin'Up on the right hand side of my blog.
The bud basics stamp set is one of the most versatile sets to use and it will be missed, but we have a new catalogue out on the 1/4/09 and this means a whole new range of stamps and accessories to purchase, use and enjoy!!!!
I will be having an open day to celebrate this event sometime during April, and will keep you posted about the date on my blog, so keep your eye on this and please feel free to come and enjoy playing with some new products.

FLOWERS AGAIN

Hi Everyone, I have just spent Sunday helping other demonstrators on an SU stand at the Newcastle Craft Fair. What an amazing day. People were lining up to see us and the demonstrations we were doing, and to make a card with us. I had such a fun day, and the other 4 demonstrators, who had been there for 3 days, were fantastic. No wonder everyone wants SU Products. They are just so easy to use and lovely to look at.
I had to do another card, making this flower. I love it and it's fun to do. I also love the scallop circle punch that you use for this flower.
I used the confetti white cardstock and rose red cardstock and prints. The greeting is from the wonderful favourites set and rose red double stitched ribbon and fire circle brads finish it.
This is so easy to do and looks great. For more information, or to purchase any of these products, call me or email me.
StampinUp has also started a bushfire appeal to help raise money for the Victorian bushfire victims. You can click onto the link on the right hand side of my blog to find out about this, and if you order any of these sets from me while this appeal lasts till the end of March, I will not be charging you for Postage. This is a great way for you to help, so I hope you have a look.

LINDA'S CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone,

This was a challenge on Linda Higgins forum. The colours used were Soft Sky, Regal rose, creamy caramel and whisper white. I used the Big Pieces and A Little Birthday Cheer stamp sets. Adding ribbons and brads to finish off. I'm in the middle of a bathroom renovation and the hammering and bashing are a bit distracting so I hope I have managed to overcome the distractions and make a card you like.

Hello again, I have been busy making cards today, so here is another one. This is the Live your dream stamp set, which is a lovely set. The greeting is from the It's Your Birthday stamp set.
Cardstock is Whisper white, chocolate chip, creamy caramel, tempting torquoise. I coloured the flower with markers, ruby red, old olive and chocolate chip. I've added brads & ribbon. Hope you like it.
Don't forget SALEBRATION is on until 28th February. If you spend $100 on product, you get to pick a free stamp set from a limited edition of stamp sets, so ring or email me for more information, or to place an order. Orders can be posted to any place in Australia.
Bye for now, off to do more stamping.
